Actual St.Patricks Day

We went out to Pops house on St.Patricks day after church.  The girls just love it out there.  It turned out to be a warm day, and the only shorts I had didnt really go with the green shirts they had for the day, but who cares!  They are so cute regardless of how their mom dresses them(lol)

Saturday Special Breakfast

A tradition in my family was on St. Patricks day we would get pancakes with pistacio pudding and whipped cream for breakfast.  So I have continued that tradition, and this year the girls got to partake.  They were unsure of the pudding.  But since they dont get sweet things very often I am sure they were not sure what it was!
We did the special breakfast on Saturday because we knew we were going to Pops house on Sunday.

Pre-St.Patricks Day

I wanted to make sure the outfits that Bens Mom sent for the girls for St. Patricks day fit and I knew what they could go with, so we had a pre St. Patricks day photo shoot!  We got the girls hair all done (in a new style) and dressed them up.
They are getting to the age where they are very uninterested in photos.  So they have to all be candid shots now.  (not that they ever have been good at sitting still!  [is anyones kids???])

For 5 minutes!  I had to run get the mail, and visit the WC.  When I get back upstairs I find that the girls have been busy.  All the drawers have been emptied onto the floor, as well as the dirty clothes hamper.  So I had to figure out what was clean and what was dirty!

(I am back dating this to the day it happened, but in the next 20 days it has happened over and over again!  This is a favorite past time now.!) 

 

 

Day at Pops

The girls really like going to visit Pop.  Even though it was raining yesterday when we left it turned out to be a pretty nice day.  A little windy, but pretty warm.

My BFF and her daughter gave the girls a little Valentine Gift Bag and in it it had little heart stampers.  I stamped the girls hands and they have asked for it everyday since!
It is so fun to see what these little girls like.

Shiner

Emily had a collision with the diaper bag hanging from Dads shoulder.  The cup in the side caught her eye.  Her first shiner!
