Struggling

Which cake idea do you like? I am trying to come up with some ideas.

Our colors are cobalt blue, yellow and silver.

Changes

This move is probably one of the worst so far.
I was so happy where I was. I had a great home, great friends, my husband to be and his family, and a good job with good co-workers.
Now I am in an apartment with a wailing baby next door, and an upstairs neighbor who likes to play music really loud.
Butch came with me, and he hates having to be on his leash. so everyday when I come home from work to let him out it is a fight just to get him to go outside.
I had such a cooshy job in Texas :) It was mentally tough, but cooshy.
Now I come home with feet that hurt sooo bad, and I am completely worn out.
My love is still in Texas staying in my home that is not selling, and lonely.

There is so much to talk about the store, but I dare not since this is posted in a public place :)
There is just a lot that needs to be done!

I will get it all I have no doubt, but I am tired :) already and I just started.

Mason TX

The weekend before I flew up here to Washington, we had been planning a surprise for Ben's dad to show up for his birthday. So I asked my Store Manager if I would be able to come a week later since we had this in the plan, and I was not sure when we would be able to see his family again.
So we drove the hours and hours in a hot truck in the heat of day on Thursday to his sisters home to be able to surprise his dad the next day.
We had just settled down for the night when his sister calls out for him to come help her.
It seems that her dog had just had an encounter with a porcupine.
So she went out with a flashlight, and Ben went out with a rifle and they got the sucker!

But her dog needed to not be there with the dead porcupine so Ben ran him over in his truck to his Mom and Dads home. So the surprise came a few hours early!
So Ben stayed there with his Dad for half the night just talking.

We met with his mom and dad for breakfast burritos the next morning.

Then we hung out with his family.
Over the weekend we got spoiled with HungryMatt pancakes, a little game of catch, and I loved hanging out with his Grandpa and just chatting.

We both had an awesome time and we were sad to leave.

Friendly gestures

I was so thrilled to walk into work on Wednesday to find flowers, and chocolate.

I love my friends, and I feel so lucky to have them!
I just love this arrangement.

To Many Plans

I am pretty bummed.
I missed a concert that I had already purchased tickets for this past week, and I am missing the Cubs/Rangers game coming up.
I guess I got comfortable in Texas, and had things purchased more than a month out :)

Life Events

It does not seem like I can do anything half way.
Since my announcement that I was promoted, and moving halfway across the country, my boyfriend Ben has proposed to me, and we decided that since he was moving with me, we should get married before the actual "move in" date.

If anyone is interested, here is the website that we put together.

My wedding will be July 17. In Texas. And I am now in Washington state waiting on my home in TX to sell, and looking at homes to buy here.

So I am sitting here in my temporary living looking at my family's blogs, and catching up with stuff that I feel I have let slip with my crazy busy life.
I really am going to miss my home that I made in TX.
I miss Ben, and hope that all is going well in Texas with him.

It is always crazy when you are living temporarily. I had to completely fill my fridge and pantry today, so I went to COSTCO, and got lots of fruit and veggies.

Then I had to go to PETCO and get butch food and water bowls, some treats, a bag of food, and some baggies to pick up after him.

Then I stopped off at the local Best Buy to get a Aux cable for my phone so I can talk hands free in my car, and found a laptop I needed to buy. (I have been looking, it was not just an impulse buy...kind of) I have no access to the internet in my temp living, and trying to finish up planning a wedding, keeping up with email, updating this blog of course...and trying to coordinate moving has prompted an immediate need for a laptop.

My mom and dad are coming in town tomorrow to help me with a few things, and just to visit since I am now pretty close. They have been up visiting my sister, and on their way back to their house they are stopping in to make sure that all is good in my world :)

So I now have one.

I am hoping that I can keep up with all the goings on!
