Da time

Occasionally Ben takes a day off work and gets to just hang out with the girls.  They love theses days!

Getting Da to read them a night night story is awesome! Especially when he read Thomas and reads it with an English accent.

Sunday Fun

Sundays are usually the only day that Ben takes off work, so we try to fit lots of stuff into Sundays!
This day after church we went and saw the local nursery and all the cool things they had for Halloween.  Then we went to the local farm that has animals that you can see. 

Hot air Balloons

We took the girls out after church and they were having a hot air balloon festival of some sort.
The girls were absolutely enamored by these.  They have seen them on tv, but not in real life!
The as we were driving home we saw one crash land about a block from our house!!! :-0

Picnic in the park

There is a really nice pavilion at one of our local libraries and on Saturday I asked Ben if he could spare a bit of time to go on a picnic with us!
After we ate we went and played at the park that was nearby.  Unfortunately for me on the way to the park I was chasing after a girl to make sure she didn't get into a fire ant hill and I landed in one!!! Ouch!  I dislike those darn buggers.  My poor feet were on fire the rest of the day from bites. 
I guess that is what I get for wearing flip flops at a park!
We had an awesome time though!

We have some fantastic local libraries!  I am so glad that we moved near one so that I found out about this gem in our town!  The girls love going!

Bens BFFs wedding

Bens friend Ben and his wife  had thier wedding this weekend, and Ben was the best man, I was a bridesmaid and the girls were flowergirls!
We didnt get any pictures during the wedding...we were a bit busy! 
Ben's mom and dad got the girls after they came down the aisle and kept them busy during the ceremony! 
We were able to wear the dresses that the girls Godmother got them for her wedding again in this one.  We both thought it would be silly to buy new ones when they had really pretty ones already that had only been worn once!
I was scrambling to make sure the girls hair got done and I get dressed in time too!  The bride did my hair and makeup that morning.  I about didnt make it!
The girls did awesome coming down the aisle.   They are cute little stinkers!
After the wedding it was a chore to try to keep them occupied!  We had pictures after the ceremony and it took a village to keep them in order!
