Christmas Morning. It sure is more fun when you are watching kids get so excited about Christmas!
Cutco for James from Mom and Dad Loot

Thanks Mom!!! WooHoo just what I asked for...actually more than I asked for. Thank you
So excited
Chillin waiting on his turn
What is that big thing?
Cant reach my shark
Woo. Mom. another One!! Someone else was excited too!
Lots of good stuff!
Waiting to go see what Santa brought
What a handsome boy in Cowboy colors. Someones who knows his aunt must like the Cowboys!
James...What are you telling that boy?

Christmas Eve

It is a tradition on Christmas Eve to act out the story of Jesus's Birth. Here are a few pics of that act!

This is the sheep who accidentally fell into a pond of green, and got dyed on accident. It is really a sheep!
Here is the sheep herder...He was a bit mean to his poor green sheep. Along side is Mary, and the angel.
And lo there was an angel
After Credits.

A bit of what I was talking about earlier
The program where we sang Christmas songs

Butch

My sister is not a huge fan of Dogs in her home, and the Thursday before we left, Butch had gotten his teeth cleaned, and had to have 2 removed. So he was shedding quite a bit due to the recent trauma. So I figured in order to save her house from being covered in Butch hair, I would give him a bath to get a lot of it out! He so loves his baths as you can see from the pictures.

Then I just had to add a few other pictures of him.

He is such a trouble maker. He is not real fond of kids, and I tried to warn all the kids to take it slow around him so they did not get a wee chunk taken out of their legs :) But on sad occasion Her youngest came up the stairs just as Butch was put down to eat some of his food, and there was a fiasco. He did not get bit (thankfully) but the rest of the week, he kept asking if the dog was in his kennel, or if I was holding him before he would go anywhere.

Darn Butch and his anger towards kids!
So he had to either be in his kennel, or on Ben or I's lap the whole time.
I do feel bad that he is not a friendlier dog!

Fort Donelson

Our first adventure away from the house was to visit Fort Donelson.
It was a beautiful day, and while we were getting ready to go, the kids and James went outside to play soccer for a bit.

Rozy, Ben and I finished up what we were doing, and got on the road.
The first places that were on the driving tour were the Earthen Forts.
They were pretty high.

The next stop was the log huts...I am glad this was not where I had to stay.
Ben saying the same thing...They really stayed in something like this in the middle of February?

After that, were the river batteries. These ended up being the most fun!

This was the shot I took of James with my super Zoom! He could hardly see me on top of the hill!
Messing around! Ride that Bull!
Wow, James this is so cool. Can you imagine shooting THIS kind of gun???
This was the bottom of the hill.

Look out! I shot it! Dang That was so loud!!!
Took the stairway down to the river

Here are just some pictures of the day. It really was a beautiful day, and we had a great time running around outside.

What a joker! James...Here is a great pic. You are a good looking kid! :)
The kids

LOOK OUT!!! RUN you are about to be attacked!

I surrender!!!
James are you wading?? It is December!
This Gun was made of something harder than plastic!
Two bro's just enjoying a wee rest after trampling each other!
To enjoy the length of my zoom. This is from the top of the hill. completely zoomed out.

Whooo thats a big gun you got there!
The crew!
This is a big gun...I suggest you surrender!

Christmas in TN

Alright…The update I have been promising.

Ben and I drove to Clarksville TN to my sisters house to spend the week of Christmas.
