Pizza Boxes and Fighting

The girls have learned how to fight.  It is so obnoxious!  They also love to put things on their heads and play with empty cardboard boxes.  So the below pictures are just a day of hanging out.

4 Generations

Pop and Poppi came to visit us and while they were here, they wanted a picture of all the generations!  Ben was able to stop by for a few minutes to visit with them on his lunch break.

Home with Daddy in our new duds

My sister Rozanne sent us these outfits when the girls were just tiny little babies and I have been looking forward to when they were big enough to wear them!  Thanks Rozy.  The girls love the googly eyes on the bees on the shirt under the sweaters.  Which they should still be able to wear some summer!

The girls are getting to look more and more alike as well.

Where have I been?

Whew!  Once again.  I have been overwhelmed with just life in general.

I will do what I can to update from the time I left off here.  I am hoping that I finally fixed the photo issue once and for all!  We will see!

Ben has been working his tail off for Edward Jones trying to get his name out there and get trained and established in the area.  So he has pretty much been out of the picture.  He always does what he can when he can, but he is working from 6 in the morning until 11 or 12 at night just trying to get where he wants to be with everything.
I fully support him in his efforts and want him to succeed.  While he has been working 17-18 hours a day I have been doing everything else.
Not unlike many stay at home Moms.  I have to hand it to you, this is not harder than I thought it would be, it is just harder than it has been!
The girls have been developing in so many ways.  They are still not talking much, but they understand mostly everything and they sign for basic things such as eating, sleeping, bathtime and thing such as that.
Other than that as long as y0ou can figure out what it is they are trying to tell you it is good.  They know what they are saying and what they want, it is up to me to decipher!
I have been busy trying to get moved in and get the house to a point where I dont think I will go crazy because of all the stuff laying around.
Our roomate has had some issues with custody of her daughter, so we are just here by ourselves so far.  That gives me two empty rooms that beg for me to shove stuff in!  I have not given in to the urge yet!
I am going to do some shorter posts now with pictures to catch up on everything!
I have missed being able to document my life and I am excited to get going again.

Goodbye 2012 Hello 2013

Whew what a month!
We have now officially moved into a new house.  We decided to rent since we are not sure where Ben is going to be with his job in a year.
We have sold our house in Washington for a significant loss and that has and will hurt financially for a while, but we are so glad that is done with.

The girls and Ben have been sick this past week, and I have been overwhelmed trying to unpack!

I am going to try to get caught up in the next few days.  I have not taken any pictures for the last little while just because the camera was packed and we were moving!  But we have gotten to a point where I can take a few moments a day now and catch up on the blog!

As for 2012:

I hate to be negative since I try to see things in a positive light, so here I go!  I am so very glad that 2012 is over!
It was a year the like I would not care to see again anytime soon.

The good things:

I got to see my whole family this year.  Everyone..  That does not happen too many years.

Ben found a job that has potential to be great.

We moved back to Texas.

My little girls turned 1!

I got the opportunity to become a stay at home Mom.

I have high hopes for 2013.  It is not going to be an easy year, but we are going to make it a better one!

We wish you all the same in the coming year!

A little blip of photos to come. This was the Sunday before Christmas.
Thanks Laura for the dresses! We had one that matched yours and the girls were darling!

Christmas

This year for Christmas we were still living with Bens Grandpa (Pop).
We were in the middle of moving however, so it was a bit tricky!  Ben spent all Christmas Eve Day with the movers moving all our stuff from the storage shed to the new place and then locked up and came home.
Granny and Poppi came Christmas Eve night as well, so about 8 or 9pm everyone who was going to be there Christmas morning had made it!
About this time I started making my family tradition of an Almond Roll.  I had not ever had enough people over Christmas to make it before, so it was quite an ordeal...I should have read the instructions a little closer than I did a little earlier than I did...We had to go to the grocery store twice to get items I needed.  About 1am Bens mom and I were finally done and we went to bed.
The girls woke up at the normal time of around 7 we had a very nice breakfast of Almond Roll which even though it did not look as pretty as others I have seen it tasted awesome!

After this, we went in and opened presents and did the Christmas morning thing.  After everything was opened, we realized that a note from my sister on one of my gifts referenced another gift which we had not opened...it was a flash drive.  So you can imagine what I was thinking...something that little, it is probably in one of the many garbage sacks with empty boxes and wrapping paper...so we start looking for it.  Turns out that it was on the table in an envelope which I had not noticed and therfore had not wrapped.  lol

Ben and I had quite a few points saved up on one of our credit cards and so we were able to get the girls each a nice toy and a coat.  Then some little stocking stuffers.
They got great gifts from everyone as did we.  It was a very good day and I was glad to be able to spend it with family.
I was looking forward to iphoneing with my family about something my Dad was giving to the grandkids, but it never happened.  We did find out though that Ana won one of the gifts from my Dad!  I was super excited about that!
I did want to see how it all went down, but I think everyone at my parents house was sick and so they had a little bit of an odd Christmas.
Kind of reminds me of one we had with some cabbage patch dolls.

Here are some pictures of the day!

Jackets

I went to visit my friend and she had a few jackets and dresses that her little girl had grown out of that she gave to us.  So here are a few pictures.  The girls are getting so big and looking like little girls instead of little babies.

Too many Photos

I guess that I have been putting too many photos on my blog.  It will not let me upload anymore...I will have to figure out a new way, or I guess I will have to stop blogging...hmm.

Christmas Photo Shoot

The girls were all dressed up from church, so I figured we would take pictures and see if any turned out that we could make our Christmas cards from.  Here are a few that we took!  These girls just get cuter everyday!  Now that they are exploring the world around them it is so fun to just watch them.
